Hey guys! Over the past few days, I:
1. Went to Disneyland/California Adventure with Jimmy
2. Re-activated my phone after 3 weeks (I work quickly)
3. Got promoted at work (now I'm a Lead Quality Assurance Tester - I'm the main person in charge of organizing the QA process for whole games now)

I'm still totally out of it from this weekend, so I'll be celebrating tomorrow. See y'all later. :P

I broke my phone... very lame. I am going to try getting it fixed or replaced first, but I don't have time before I leave. So... I'll be sans cell for a bit. Luckily it won't effect my trip too much since I couldn't use it in Japan anyway. :P

It's San Diego restaurant week starting Sunday. Some friends from work and I want to go sample some delicious wares, but there are so many choices I don't know where to start. Do any San Diego people recommend any of these?

I sure didn't until about 5 minutes ago. The next semester starts Jan. 28th. I'm definitely checking back then for a Flash course, maybe PHP as well. Just figured I'd pass the info along since the start date is coming up relatively soon. These are mostly basic-skills classes so they may be of limited interest, but hey, you can't go too wrong with free. :P

I totally went here last night. We met up at O'Brien's, a beer bar on Convoy, then walked to Chorus, a Korean booth-style Karaoke joint (read: you sing with friends, not in front of a bunch of drunk assholes at a bar).

Goods?
1. Ridiculous videos of men and women swallowing fish, then pouring whiskey all over themselves
2. Standards like Forgot About Dre (I had no idea I knew it so well, I blame J), Bye Bye Bye (Dan knocked it out of the park), and Smooth
3. Tasty sweet potato fries and (very weak) soju

Bads?

1. I forgot my camera.
2. Smells like bleach.
3. 'Spensive!

Honestly, SingStar/Rock Band etc. make this activity less unique. BUT! I had a lot of fun, and it's a different experience singing in a room with a crazy red and green disco ball and mics with hyper-charged volumes. My vote? GIVE IT A TRY. Bring a LOT of people, though. You rent the room by the hour and can cram as many people in as you want, so it's cheaper if there are a lot of you (think 10-15).

Question: are there any good free or relatively low-cost web content management suites out there?

I know WordPress can be adjusted for that, but I would love to have more options.

Goddamn. I just locked during the final boss fight in Star Wars: Force Unleashed. When I restarted my PS3 it dumped me back waaaaay before the boss. :(

Also, as always when I try to play an action adventure game, my hands hurt.
